  • Bernards Township Dog Run Rules and Regulations
  • The dog run is open only to Bernards Township residents and their properly
    licensed dogs.
  • The facility is open for use from sun up to sun down, daily.
  • Use the dog run at your own risk. Bernards Township is not responsible for injuries you or your dog may suffer.
  • Please use good judgement before entering or releasing your dog into the run with other dogs.
  • Please close and secure gates before releasing your dog.
  • The Pooper-Scooper Law will be strictly enforced inside as well as outside the dog run.
  • All dogs must be on a leash outside the dog run.
  • Dog owners are responsible for controlling their dogs at all times. Owners are asked to closely supervise their dogs, and at no time should an owner leave the run without their dog(s).
  • No dogs known to be aggressive towards other dogs or people (or exhibiting any threatening behavior) may enter the run.
  • Parents must refrain from bringing toddlers and small children into the run. Parents are strongly discouraged from bringing children under 12 years of age. Children should at no time be allowed to run with or chase after dogs in the dog run..
