Online Payments And Direct Withdrawal Program
Direct Withdrawal Program To Pay Property Taxes
Bernards Township now offers direct withdrawal to our taxpayers. This service assures your payment will be received
in a timely manner as well as providing a safe and secure way to pay your taxes without the worry of mail delivery or
paying in person. Quarterly property tax payments as billed will be debited from your account on the payment due
dates of February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1 or the next business day. Applications are accepted in the Tax Collector’s office.

Bernards Township Sewerage Authority is now offering direct withdrawal to our sewer users as well. Payments will be debited
from your account on the payment due dates of January 1 and July 1 or the next business day. Applications are accepted in the Tax Collector’s office. Your application must be received no later than 15 days prior to the due date.

In conjunction with digitized tax maps, Bernards Township has received new block and lot numbers for the entire township. This went into effect Tuesday, January 22, 2008. To make your payment online, you will need your block and lot.
You will not be receiving an updated statement for the current pay period. Your new statements for the next pay periods that you will receive in July will contain your updated lot and block numbers.
Two On-Line Payment Options Are Available:
We are pleased to offer Bernards Township taxpayers a convenient new FEE-FREE option for on-line tax payments. This safe and secure payment method utilizes the United States banking system’s Automated Clearing House (ACH) technology. You will direct the ACH to electronically transfer your tax payment to our tax collection account. There is no fee for this service.

The Township continues to offer an on-line credit card payment option for both Tax and Sewer payments. The payer will be charged a convenience fee to pay with a credit card.
